Tech-knowledge-y
Students of Science Leadership Academy are trusted to make their own choices regarding their technological use. It is within the bounds of the faculty to be able to view and control our laptop screens remotely. Our teachers do not do this. As part of the SLA experience, we are allowed to make our own choices and take our own risks. It is important for real life experience. Listen as SLA’s own students speak on their experiences the digital age.
Conversational Practice
In this conversation, members will be asked to challenge their creativity by creating a project of their own, and collaborate with their peers. They will face the everyday challenge of students by working with new faces they might not know anything about. They’ll be working together to show what they know, and coming up with their own idea on how to teach students about the new digital age without using the words “Well back in my day…”
